Nose: The nose offers vivid aromas of blackberry, cassis, bing cherry and saddle leather. Subtle notes of mulberry, kirsch, pencil shavings and milk chocolate are accented by crushed dried flowers and a suggestion of mint.
Palate: Concentrated fruit flavors includes boysenberry, plum, black currant and blueberry, all graced by hints of sage, sandalwood and black raspberry. The mouthfeel is layered, harmonious and firmly structured with a silky texture. Bright fruit ultimately yields to richer layers of exotic spice, cigar box and fennel, concluding with a long, elegant finish.
