He started first his organic conversion in 1999, before being certified biodynamic in 2004. The estate is now comprised of 46 hectares, covering prime parcels such as Curon, La Mailloche, Les Bruyères or Château-Chalon. In total, the Domaine Tissot produces more than 30 different cuvees. Stephane Tissot was first recognized for his white “ouillés”, made in a Burgundian style. Tissot then gained further popularity through his oxydatives reds, and Savagnins macerated in terracotta jars.
The remarkable expression of the different terroirs has led the Domaine Tissots rise to the top in the region, and its wines are unanimous among amateurs and critics.
