Bordeaux, France

Nestled in a 100-acre vineyard within the Sainte-Foy Côtes de Bordeaux, Château Hostens-Picant upholds ancient winemaking traditions. With grand cru vinification techniques, the estate crafts globally recognized powerful and elegant wines, known for quality and consistency.

Their philosophy centers on excellence, emphasizing responsible, handcrafted winemaking. Over three decades, familial vineyard cultivation has yielded wines gracing tables in top establishments.

Yves and Nadine, leading from the start, built a loyal team for consistent quality. Daughters Charlotte and Valentine now continue the legacy. Valentine manages global business, while Charlotte oversees communication and tourism.

Expanding to 40 hectares, with 30 for red and 10 for white, the estate highlights terroir potential. Yves and Nadine focus on rich soils to reveal natural quality. Guided by Stéphane Derenoncourt since 2004, a plan included soil studies, vine replanting, and innovative techniques. Vine density doubled, with Cabernet Franc replacing Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaking evolved, enhancing freshness and elegance while preserving their original identity.
